I’m so looking forward to this event. I love visiting with readers and chatting about books. Add in food and drink, and what’s not to like, right? And for me, another exciting plus is that the weather is Dallas is currently projected to be in the low- to mid-70s for that weekend. Woo-hoo. In other words, perfect!

There didn’t seem to be a resounding response to a new website, yesterday. That said, here is something I sent out before. I like the logo, and the tag line, but there wasn’t a “wow moment” for Afloat in a Book. Keep thinking. I think this is a good idea—a new website. However, I believe our minds are on other things right now like: getting out of the house, traveling, having fun in the sun, being with family, and feeling the freedom that vaccines bring. So if interest in this website is down [and all that goes with it] … it’s no wonder.
